Frequently Asked Questions
What is Invisible Network?
Invisible Network is an anonymous job search platform that connects developers and employers. How does it work?
Job seeking software engineers can anonymously create de-identified profiles so employers can request introductions to those they're interested in meeting. Introductions will only ever be facilitated when there is mutual interest. Please see How it Works for more details. What makes it different than other job boards or working with recruiters?
- Job seekers can share that they're looking for work anonymously. This means no spam from recuiters nor will your current employer find out. Further, anonymous introductions mean potential employers are interested in your skils and interests without knowing your gender, race, age, or ability status...the way it should be.
- Employers can proactively seek out talented candidates to hire, while reducing bias in the process.
How much does it cost?
The service is always free for job seekers. Employers pay a 10% fee when they make a successful hire via an Invisible Network introduction. More details can be found on the Pricing page.Who is Invisible Network for?
Software Engineering is our focus. Our sweet spot is connecting developers, software engineers, and DevOps engineers with small but growing tech or tech-adjacent companies. If you're an engineer or you're hiring engineers, then this is the right place for you.How will you protect my privacy?
Members of the Invisible Network team are the only people who have access to your personal information. We will never share your name, contact info, or anything else that could be personally identifying without your consent. How do I get started?
- If you're looking for work, please create a job seeker account to add yourself to the job seeker list.
- If you're hiring, please create an employer account. Then check out the comprehensive job seeker list and request as many introductions as you'd like.
I need a visa to work in the US. Can I use Invisible Network?
Unfortunately, no. The majority of employers we work with are based in the US and aren't open to sponsoring visas. We don't want you to waste your time if we can't actually help with your search.I'm an external recruiter. Can I use Invisible Network?
Unfortunately, no. We want to avoid being in the middle as much as possible. Our goal is to connect good people with good people, then get out of the way. The more in-between steps there are in the process, the worse the experience is for everyone involved.Still have questions?
